Antique hand colored engraving by British artist George Edwards titled “Strix Bubo” (horned owl) dated 1756
The details on this piece are unlike any I have seen before - as if you could reach out and feel the feathers. Even the writing and title are not duplicated on any other finds online making it very unique.
